(The Missionary arrives )

A ka bo ni mo' ntsu'

one day

Tu ma nda Nyikob tse ma ngong Bani

the head missionary arrived Bali.

Ma kiti nku'mu bun-kristo bo nda-nwani.

to visit the christains and the school.

 he does that three time a year, every year.

 the christains and the school children were all excited to see him.

 first he to visit the school,congratulate the teachers and the brilliant pupils.

 they sang some songs to welcome him.

 he quiz them about what they have been taught.

 some of them failed in arithmetics.

he encourage them to make an effort.

Ndib nwani tum a ,

when school was out

Bawukad ma ngon ni mfon boa ba kom to tsati i .

the elders in the town including the fon and the nobles came to greet him.

Bo ken i ni kedzu-pia,jome, hini,ngwafud, lipo bua mbiayang.

they presented him with food items-avocado,plum,sugarcane,corn, banana and peanuts.

A bo ni mbonyum Bun-kristo boa gang-sung-nu-nyikob to ma tang ngam boa Masa.

In the evening the christains and the pastor came to visit with the missionary.

Mvi sang, bun nkumu ma nda-nyikob,

In the morning every one gathered in the church,

Tubum masa sung Nu-Nyikob.

The missionary himself did the preaching.

Ndib bo meti, masa bunu ngo ma kiti mo' nku'mu bun kristo.

when the service was over, the missionary left to go visit another Christian community.
